At Cedarville, we are always seeking ways to expand our influence for the Lord, and that includes through new academic disciplines. During the January Trustees meeting, we agreed to seek approval from the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the Higher Learning Commission to add a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program. If approved, civil engineering would join the already impressive programs we have in mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. It was also my honor to share with our Trustees that we have successfully completed the $3 million Jeremiah Chapel renovation. This campaign generated the highest number of donors for a single project in the University’s history. Our contractors finished on time and on budget, and our students were able to enjoy the upgraded space the moment they stepped foot on campus last August.

Here are other highlights from the January meeting of the Board of Trustees.
