On February 6, our campus community was blessed to hear Thomas Mach, Professor of History and Associate Vice President for Academics, in chapel speaking on “Liberal Arts in the Christian Context.” Dr. Mach — a true statesman for the value of the liberal arts within a Christian university setting — identified four key attributes that are common in liberal arts education today. Using Genesis as his backdrop, he addressed each of these attributes from a biblical context and went on to share what makes Cedarville’s approach to the liberal arts truly unique. Listen and be encouraged.
