James offers two ways that we as believers should respond to suffering: The first is patience, which we examined a few weeks ago in James 5:7-11, and the second is prayer, which we find in today’s text, James 5:13-18. I believe prayer follows patience because patient prayer will minister to our souls. Prayer may not remove our suffering, but it will transform our hearts. So how do we live a life of prayer to the glory of God? Join us – and about 400 guests for our CU Friday visit event – as we continue our Steadfast series in the book of James.
