At the end of August, Hurricane Harvey pounded the city of Houston, Texas. The devastation was heartbreaking. During Cedarville’s fall break, 30 students, led by Jon Wood, Vice President for Student Life and Christian Ministries; Jim Cato, Associate Vice President of Christian Ministries; and Keith Holcomb, Assistant Director of Cedarville’s Global Outreach, ministered to those who had lost everything.

They were hosted by Northeast Houston Baptist Church (NEHBC) and lead pastor Nathan Lino. Our Cedarville team handed out clothing and food at NEHBC’s Farrington Mission, cleared debris from still muddy homes, removed damaged, water-soaked walls, and shared the Gospel door to door.

Enjoy a highlight video from this special trip, and be encouraged as you see how our students are continuing to make a difference for Jesus Christ.
