While none of us probably truly fits the description of a sluggard found in Proverbs 6:6, we all can have tendencies to be lazy. Our sinful nature pulls us to do only what we want to do or what comes easily to us. But at its root, laziness is shortsighted self-centeredness that keeps us from loving God and others well.
