In chapel today, we looked at Ephesians 2:1-10, one of the greatest passages in all of the Bible. As we studied together, we felt the weight of the first half of the passage – we were once dead in our trespasses and sins – and the joy of the second half – as followers of Jesus Christ, we have been made alive in Him.
Apart from Christ we were doomed, rebels against the Creator of the universe, but God in His mercy has made us alive, raised us up, and seated us with Him in Jesus Christ so that we may walk in the good works that He has already prepared for us. The spiritually dead are made alive in Christ to do good work for His glory!
Join us as we look at this amazing passage to discover the hope we have in Christ.
